What is Sclerotherapy?
Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat telangiectasias and spider veins.
Benefits: Benefits of Sclerotherapy include: the improved appearance of the legs as it reduces the appearance of unsightly telangiectasias and spider veins, it’s a minimally invasive procedure that requires no surgical treatments, and has little to no downtime.
How it works:
Sclerotherapy works by injecting a solution called a sclerosant directly into the affected veins which causes them to shrink and eventually fade away. The solution irritates the lining of the vein, causing it to collapse and stick together. Over time, the body naturally absorbs the treated vein and it disappears.
